Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas XI IPS 2 SMA Katolik Sibolga dalam Menulis Kalimat Opinion & Thought dengan Metode Think Pair Share

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to improve the learning outcomes of class XI IPS 2 students of Sibolga Catholic High School in writing opinion and thought sentences using the Think Pair Share method. The subjects of this study were all from class XI, IPS 2, totaling 20 people, consisting of 11 male students and 9 female students. The object of this study was the use of cooperative learning. The data were obtained through a learning achievement test at the end of each cycle in the form of an observation sheet and a learning achievement test in writing sentences of opinions and thoughts, which were carried out for three weeks or three meetings. Data analysis was carried out by presenting the data. Based on the results of data analysis in cycles I, II, and III, it shows that the Think Pair Share method can improve learning outcomes in writing opinion and thought sentences in class XI IPS 2 students of Sibolga Catholic High School, as seen from the achievement of classical completeness scores in cycle III.
