Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis Berbasis Laboratorium Materi Gerak Parabola

Abstract

This study aims to develop a laboratory-based test instrument to measure students' critical thinking skills on the subject of parabolic motion. This type of research is a development research or Research and Development with ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model in developing the instrument. The subjects in this study were grade XI students at one of the MANs in Medan City. Content validation testing was carried out by 2 expert validators to test material, construction, and language aspects. The validity of the items obtained was as many as 8 valid questions with very high reliability of 0.868, the differentiation power of 6 out of 8 was accepted and the level of difficulty was moderate as many as 7 questions and 1 difficult question. Based on research conducted on the test instruments developed, it is known that the level of critical thinking skills of students is classified in the good category with indicators of analyzing data 67%, evaluating methods 46%, analyzing conclusions 67%, and proposing the next step 65%.
