Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of student activities in the guided inquiry learning model on student learning outcomes in sound wave material. This research is a type of quasi-experimental research with a twogroup pretest-posttest design. The population of this study were class XI students of SMA NEGERI 1 GAROGA. The sample for this research was students of class XI MIA 1 and XI MIA 2 who were selected using a random technique (cluster random sampling). This research data is in the form of quantitative data collected using an essay test on sound wave material. The data analysis technique uses the t-test. The results of the research show that there is an influence of students' activities carrying out the stages of the guided inquiry learning model on student learning outcomes.
